Theatrix Senior Production: A Midsummer Night’s Musical
For ages 11-16
A musical retelling of Shakespeare’s classic story about a pair of lovestruck teenagers and a troupe of actors who find themselves caught in the middle of a fight between the faerie King and Queen. Full of hijinks, mishaps, and faeries causing mayhem this modern take on a classic piece of literature will come to life with an all-new score of original music.
Kids enrolled in this production will help create the story, songs, and characters as part of the rehearsal process.

When: Tuesdays from 4-5:30
Saturdays from 11:30-1:30
(No classes March 19 – 30)
Where: Port Coquitlam Community Centre.
Performance: Saturday, June 1st at the Evergreen Cultural Centre

Auditions will take place over Zoom on the Saturday before the program starts. A welcome letter will be sent to all registered participants in advance and will include details about the program, rehearsals, performances, auditions, and more. Please note that all students enrolled in a production are guaranteed a role, auditions are simply a way to determine the best role for your talents.
